Clean water saves 44% of medical costs for orphans in Uganda

We sent a young engineer to the orphanage with a water filtration system on August 21, 2009. In April 2008, the orphanage reported that they saved 44% of their medical costs since the children began drinking the filtered water. This savings not only allows for money once spent on medical bills to go toward food and other needed items, it is improving the quality of life for young children who would otherwise be suffering illness.
