About The Foundation

The World Foundation for Original Human Development, Inc. (WFOHD) is a nonprofit educational organization designed to identify and support healthy human development. The ultimate goal of WFOHD is to facilitate growth of heatlhy individuals who collectively create a world community of respect.

We see the world as a collection of individuals. Therefore, by creating programs for individuals, we concurently address greater social issues. Yet, our focus is on individual relationships skills that lead to health and harmony in society.

WFOHD postulates that individuals have four basic aspects: spiritual, mental, emotional and biological. We have programs that address healthy development in each area.

The activities of the corporation include the collection of information and research data, the development of programs to educate and inform, networking with individuals and organizations to support greater collective success, and drawing resources to make all the above possible. Our work supports social service professionals, parents, lay people and clergy. We propose that the process of integrating the four aspects of spiritual, emotional, mental and biological qualities, based upon the common basic human standard, results in the formation of original human development and character. This basic human standard must be consistant to all people regardless of culture or background.
